Award winning?  Yes!

Brent and Chris Caithness are now two time world champions, winning the Decorative Film Competition at the International Window Film Conference and Tint Off in the inaugural year in 2022 in San Antonio, Texas, and again in 2025 in Reno, Nevada. CFS also competed in at the 2024 event in Orlando, Florida, taking home the People’s Choice award (popular vote).

The Decorative Window Film Competition requires teams to complete a decorative film installation in a 3 hour time frame, in front of a live audience, installing various film products to both sides of a framed, commercial window. The film design must adhere to a pre-determined theme, released approximately 4 weeks prior to the competition day.

The 2022 theme was “What does the window film industry mean to you?”

The 2024 theme was “A window film theme park”.

The 2025 theme was “Between Peaks and Possibilities”.

All 3 designs were designed by our brilliant in-house Graphic Designer, Gayle Marshall, and installed by Brent with Chris as install assistant.

Brent Caithness – Director

Brent has been working in the film industry since 1996, initially as a window film installer, before shifting his focus to graphics and signage, and then starting Complete Film Solutions in 2005.  Brent has been involved in both national and international work for 3M™ Australia and is recognised as a leading industry expert in all 3M Window Film and Graphics Media products and applications. 

In April 2022, Brent, his wife, Chris, and their boys relocated Complete Film Solutions to Busselton, to enjoy a better work-life balance.
